Tips For Buyers

I have always felt that in this world of constant changes and advancements that you can not get enough education.  Every year I exceed the requirements of classes needed for agents to renew their license.  Education has always been a top priority for me to better serve my clients I have also completed the following designations.

Realtor

Only real estate professionals who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) can call themselves REALTORS®. All REALTORS® adhere to NAR’s strict Code of Ethics, which is based on professionalism and protection of the public. That’s why all real estate licensees are NOT the same. Dedicated to serving America’s property owners at both local and national levels, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, The Voice for Real Estate®, is the largest professional association at over one million members strong. So, whether you’re buying or selling a home—it pays to work with a REALTOR®. Look for the REALTOR® logo when choosing your real estate agent.

Certified Negotiation Expert

The Certified Negotiation Expert designation course is designed specifically to give Realtors® and real estate professionals, the knowledge, training and ability needed to become an expert negotiator – a vital skill required for real estate transactions.

Here are some of the benefits:

  • Better results for your clients and yourself – Negotiation is a blend of using collaborative approaches to help identify and create value for all parties, and competitive approaches that help ensure you capture the value components you want. Understanding the dynamics of collaborative and competitive negotiating will most certainly help you achieve better results for your clients and yourself.

  • Become more persuasive and convincing - Using proven persuasion principles can significantly increase your ability to successfully convince the other side to accept your offer.  My goal is to have a win-win situation!

  • “Whole Brain” communicating and negotiating - When people make important decisions like buying or selling a house, they make the decisions using emotions (right brain) and logic (left brain).  Knowing how and when to impact each side of the brain has drastically improved my success rate when representing my clients.

Senior Real Estate Specialist

Seniors Real Estate Specialists® are REALTORS® qualified to address the needs of homebuyers and sellers age 50+. The SRES® Council awards the SRES® Designation to those members who have successfully completed its education program.
